Microsoft and its various branches has been of great use to all of us when we have some important work on our desktop. Two such branches are the Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Outlook. Microsoft Exchange Server is a mail server and calendaring server that has been developed by Microsoft and Microsoft Outlook refers to a personal information manager software system from Microsoft and is a part of the Microsoft Office suite.
Microsoft Outlook is initially an email client but also has functions like calendaring, task managing, contact managing, note-taking, journal logging and web browsing. It can be used as a standalone application but many organizations deploy it in the form of multi-user software through Microsoft Exchange Server for various shared functions. Microsoft Exchange uses a proprietary protocol known as MAPI for talking to email clients and has also added support for POP3, IMAP and EAS.
But each and every software faces issues and errors in various occasions because of different reasons. In the same way, Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Outlook also face certain errors in their systems. Most recently, Microsoft is facing issues with the Exchange Server and they had to face the temporary server error 4.3.2. The main issue at present is with delayed email or email that has bounced completely and has not been sent. This problem has affected the inbound as well as outbound mail.
The Office 365 support said that they are investigating an issue with Exchange Server for a few users. They have identified that a subset of infrastructure is not able to process requests for users of a specific region and has resulted in a message backlog and has also caused delivery delays and failures. Microsoft said that the problem occurred because of bad hardware and expected to solve it in a short span of time but the issue has not been sorted yet.
Now, you must be wondering if there is a permanent fix for this or not. Till now, the team of Office 365 has not mentioned anything regarding a permanent or temporary solution for this. For the time being, you can quit the app, open it and check if the issue is there or not. If it is still there, you can contact the Office 365 support for more details and solutions on this issue.
