1) Change cursor color:

According to a user, the problem magically fixes itself if the color of the cursor pointer is changed. Hence, change the color of the cursor on your host device. To change the color of your cursor, go to Settings > Ease of Access > Cursor and Pointer. Here, change the pointer color to black. Now check your client device during Moonlight stream. The cursor should be visible on your client device after this step.

2) Check mouse connection on host PC:

If your host device does not have a physical mouse attached to it, the cursor not being visible may be a common occurrence. Hence, just attach a mouse to your host device to make the cursor visible during Moonlight game stream. If you already have a mouse attached to your device, check the connection. Be absolutely certain that the wire is plugged in all the way.

3) Enable Mouse keys:

To make up for the unavailability of a physical mouse, there is another thing you can try. On your host device, type ‘Mouse keys’ in the search box near the start menu. Select the first search result, and enable Mouse keys. This should fix the problem and the cursor will be visible during stream on Moonlight.

4) Restart devices:

Restart both the devices used in your setup. Completely turn off your host and client devices and establish a fresh connection. This will definitely fix the problem and you will see the cursor display on your client device.

5) Reinstall program:

The last thing you can try is reinstalling Moonlight on both the devices. Uninstall the program and delete all the files from your device. Now, reinstall the program on the devices and perform the setup formalities. After this step, the cursor problem will most definitely be fixed on Moonlight.
