NBC Sports App Streaming Error & not working issue on Firestick : How to fix it

Are you facing issues with the NBC Sports app on your TV? Make sure that you have a TV subscription of NBC Sports that includes viewing or live streaming online. If you have only internet plans, that alone isn’t enough for you to be able to play the app content. Contact your TV provider for further information on this. Once you confirm that you have a proper subscription, you may go ahead with the following troubleshooting steps.

Note: NBC Support has acknowledged that some NBC apps aren’t working on Fire devices, especially in newly purchased devices. Please update your Fire devices to solve this issue.

To update your Firestick:

• Visit Settings.
• Go to My Fire TV.
• Then, go to About.
• Then Check for Updates.

NBC Sports not working and streaming error: How to fix it?

• Try logging out and re-authenticate your TV provider.
  To do so, sign out of your provider in the settings in the NBC Sports app.
  Make sure you sign out of all NBC apps: NBC, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, USA and Telemundo.
  After unlinking your TV Provider, check by opening all apps.
  Sign in to your provider with the primary address in the settings of the app.
  This might solve the problem.
• Unplug and replug your Firestick from the TV.
• Force stop the app.
  1. Press Home button.
  2. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications.
  3. Select the NBC Sports app. Choose the Force-Stop option.
  4. Re-open the app. It should work now!
• Try clearing cache on the NBC Sports app.

   4. Select Clear cache / data.
   5. The error may be resolved by now!
