The developers of New World are inviting a few lucky people to the Closed Beta program before the game’s official launch! Want a chance to join those lucky few? Well, Aeterneum is an attractive location, I must say. You can mold Aeterneum any way you like. That’s right. Aeterneum is whatever you want to think it is. Forever.
Who wouldn’t want to give such a place a visit? We know how excited you are about the exclusive launch. With the Closed Beta program, you will get to experience a number of new elements introduced after the official announcement of the game happened last summer.

New World Closed Beta: What’s new?
If you attended the preview party, you would know what New World was a few months back. Want to know more about the preview party version? Head over here.
Now, back to the Closed Beta. Developers have been doing their jobs pretty well. The Beta Version of the game will see new, mesmerizing but dangerous locations all over the map. There will be new Expeditions and Outpost Rush. I love that they included new weapons too, that’s incredible. New adventures, quests, and activities will also be available for players to enjoy and explore the world. What a great (and, special) experience will it be to get invited to such a closed beta program?
The Closed Beta program will go live from July 20 at 9:30 AM PT (4:30 PM UTC) and will continue until August 2 at 11:59M PT (6:59 AM UTC). The official game of New World will be launched on August 31, 2021.
Closed Beta: How to access?
Coming straight to the point, how is a fan going to access such a program? There are three ways to do so. A player will be eligible for the Closed Beta access only if he/she signs up for the program from this page or pre-orders the game from either Amazon or Steam.
If you sign up for the beta program through the above link, know that the New World team will randomly select players from the sign-up list. This selection process will continue till the end of the Closed Beta program.
However, if you pre-order the game, you will receive an invite to the Closed Beta program within 48 hours of the order confirmation.
If you are selected for the Closed Beta from the sign-up list, or you pre-order the game from Steam or Amazon, you will receive a Steam Key to be redeemed from the Steam library. Once you redeem the key, you will see a New World Closed Beta in your Steam Library available to download. Download and sign-up; you should be able to play the version till the end of the Closed Beta.
