Reports of GPU crashes were noted since the first beta phase of New World was launched. Many reports suggest that the game crashes in between and sometimes, even before launching. The video game uses up the GPU entirely, triggering the fans to run at 100% power. Although some players have reported getting rid of the problem by updating the graphic drivers, others cannot seem to solve the puzzle using the basic troubleshooting techniques. What players want to know now is whether the developers are doing something about this notorious issue. New World crashes are not limited to systems with low specs; the video game is crashing even on highly powered GPUs. It is easy for you to figure out by now that there are no fixes to the problem as yet. So, what is it the devs plan to do about the situation? Read this article to know more.

New World crashing GPUs, black screens with audio: Updates

Amazon Games has been having a hard time since the release of New World. Although the video game is a hit and managed to find itself in the list of top player video games of Steam, the victory came with some sour consequences. New World is losing its fan base because of the notorious server bottlenecks and annoying bugs triggered by the same. The GPU issue is, however, not a new thing. This was first reported during New World’s first beta phase. And, the issue has managed to appear in the final version of New World as well.

So I seem to be having an issue where New World is crashing my GPU. I feel it’s the GPU because all my PC lights stay on, I can still hear the game sound and can still talk to my friends in discord, however my monitor goes to a black screen and can’t find a signal after the crash happens.

Even if the video game is being run on the lowest graphics, the crashes don’t stop. Players have tried all sorts of tips: disabling steam overlay, modifying GPU fan speeds, and all the basic restarting and reinstalling. But, nothing seemed to work completely. After receiving loads of reports regarding the same, Amazon Games has finally acknowledged the problem. We urge you to make sure your GPU drivers are updated to their latest versions. Then, all we have to do is wait for the first patch to arrive. New World is an amazing creation; Amazon Games has done a wonderful job with the video game. But, the release week is tough for all newbies in the world of video games.

For more updates on New World, stay tuned.

I love to play video games and write about them. Food helps with my patience. I am a fan of comedy, and I am funny too (sometimes just angry).
