1) Rename the program file:

For example, if the installer file is named “abc.exe” rename it to “abc2.exe” or “def.exe”. Now, try to run the application again to check if the installation process works smoothly. 2) Copy the file in a new folder:

3) System update:

4) Scan for malware:
You can either use your trusted third-party anti-malware software or just use the in-built anti-malware scanner to look for possible threats on your device. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Windows security > Virus and threat protection > Scan options > Full scan > Scan now. This will initiate a thorough scan of your computer. Let this process complete itself. if the error still persists post-scan, try the next method.
5) Run SFC and DISM scan:
Open the Command Prompt by typing ‘CMD’ in the Windows search box. Make sure to run the Command prompt as an administrator. Type/copy-paste the following commands one by one in the window and press enter after each one.
SFC scan- “sfc /scannow”
DISM scan – “/Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth”
“/Online /Cleanup-Image / RestoreHealth”
Once these scans are complete, Restart your PC and the error should no longer bother you.
