Nvidia Drivers are your GPU drivers that help your system to communicate and manage any Nvidia graphics card associated with your system. Therefore, you must install Nvidia drivers on your system having an Nvidia GPU. However, sometimes Nvidia drivers are not installed on Windows 11 for many users. The root cause behind this problem may vary from system to system and so does the solution to it. Since the release of Windows 11, many bugs and glitches are encountered by the users frequently. Although the features of the new OS may seem captivating but the problems are also a part of the experience. Nvidia Drivers not installing on Windows 11 is one such problem that is occurring lately for many. We have a list of solutions for you that might solve this problem.

1) Restart your PC:

The first thing you are going to do is restart your PC. Once you restart your PC, the memory freshens up. After that, you can begin the process of a clean installation.

2) Uninstall the current driver:

If there is already an Nvidia driver installed on your system and you are trying to install a new one, uninstall the previous driver. Go to the Device Manager of your system and select Display adapters. Now, select the Nvidia GPU and click on Uninstall device. This will uninstall your current GPU drivers from the system. Hence, after uninstalling the previous drivers, try to install the new drivers from the official site.

3) Stop the Nvidia services on your system:

Open your Task Manager and go to the Services option from there. Now, search for any service that begins with Nvidia and then end it. After ending the services, try installing the drivers again.

4) Remove Nvidia processes from Task Manager:

Open your Task Manager and go to the Processes tab. Close any process that has Nvidia associated with it. Following this, you can close the process by clicking on the End Task button on the bottom right of the window.

5) Disable firewall and antivirus:

For a temporary period, disable the anti-virus and firewall from your system. To disable real-time protection, go to the Virus and threat protection settings and turn off the Real-time protection option for your device. Now go to the Firewall & Network protection on Windows Security and turn off the firewall from the Domain network option. Once you install the drivers, enable both settings again.

6) Install GeForce Experience:

Install the GeForce Experience application on your device and try installing the graphics drivers from there.

7) Rename the Nvidia folder:

Go to Local Disc (C:)> Program Files. Here, try locating the folder named Nvidia Corporation and renaming it to Nvidia Corporation 1. Now, try installing the drivers again.
