Palia is a relaxing game that tries its best to emerge as a mix of adventure and life simulator. In this game, you can choose to cook, fish, or even go hunting. The sheer number of activities available in the game is what makes Palia one of the best games of 2023. Well, every Palia player must have heard of or come across something called Bundles. These bundles, upon completion, will provide exciting rewards to the players. That said, in this article, you will learn to complete a special bundle in the game called the Brightbug Bundle.
The Brightbug Bundle is one of the few new additions that the latest v0.168 patch came with. It can be unlocked by catching four bugs, and as the bundle name says, they all glow. Hunting bugs may not be the happiest activity for you, but remember that if you are eager to complete all your achievements or expand your collection even further, then you have no choice but to do it. Anyway, here’s how you can complete the Brightbug Bundle in Palia.
Palia BrightBug Bundle: How to get & unlock
To unlock the bundle, you must first progress through the Plumhound Pilgrimage and A Catalyzing Caper quests, after which the Vault of the Flames quest has to be completed. Once these quests are completed, you can access the Night Sky Temple found north of the Leafhopper Hills in the Kilima Village region. Here, you must interact with Jina.
Required bugs for the Brightbug Bundle
There are four bugs that you have to catch to complete this bundle in the game. Here’s the complete list, along with when and where to find them:
- The first bug that you need to catch is the Paper Lantern bug. It can be found near Lighthouse Lagoon, Beachcomber Cove, and all the coastal areas of the Bahari Bay region. However, make sure to visit only during the night, as they spawn between 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM.
- Next is the green-colored Bahari Glowbug. This one can be found around Hideaway Bluffs, Pulsewater Plains, and Pavel Mines at night between 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM.
- The third one is the flame-colored Spitfire Cicada. You can hunt this bug in almost all the areas of the Bahari Bay region, but it is most abundantly found in Pavel Mines, Statue Garden, etc. It usually latches itself into medium-sized Sapwood trees. However, they usually spawn during the daytime between 3:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- The last one is also a flame-colored bug named the Firebreathing Dragonfly. These are usually found in the Kilima Village region around Mirror Pond Ruins and Mirror Fields. Remember that these bugs aren’t time-sensitive, which is why you can catch them at any time of the day.
Note: In Palia, the day starts at 3 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. You can also call it the time of sunrise and sunset. In the same manner, the night starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 3 a.m. This is the in-game time, not the real-world one.
How do you complete the bundle?
Now that you know where all these bugs are, stack smoke bombs in your inventory and start hunting. Once you have caught each one of the bugs mentioned, just return to Night Sky Temple and access the Stone Vault. Completing the Brightbug Bundle will grant you three Supreme Smoke Bombs. These smoke bombs have a 100% catch rate, which makes them one of the best tools for bug-catching.
