Firstly, the hiker will gift you the TM98 or Rock Smash only if you have visited Jubilife City. You will also have to earn the Poketch item – find all three clowns in the Jubilife City and solve their riddles. As a Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl player, you must know about the Hidden Moves app by now. Once the hiker gifts you the move, he will also update the Hidden Moves app. This will enable you to use the Rock Smash move without having to teach the move to a Pokemon in your game’s party. Using the Hidden Moves app, you can summon a wild, capable Pokemon to do the job for you. However, you will not be able to enable the Rock Smash move from your Hidden Moves app before you defeat the gym leader, Roark (Oreburgh City), and earn the coal badge.
The Rock Smash is a very useful power that players can use to get through certain caves. We hope this tutorial helped you attain the Hidden Move you wanted. For more articles on Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, stay tuned to Androidgram!
