Misdreavus’s encounter rate is different in both titles. Getting a Misdreavus in Shining Pearl is fairly simple as it is a Shining Pearl exclusive but in Brilliant Diamond, it is extremely rare(nonexistent) and the only choice Brilliant Diamond players have is to trade it from someone who owns it in Shining Pearl. In Shining Pearl, Misdreavus has two spawn locations: Eterna City and Lost Tower. Misdreavus in Eterna City only appears at night time. So, if the nighttime setting in your Nintendo Switch is “no time”, then consider adjusting the console’s clock to your benefit.
Getting Misdreavus in Lost Tower is fairly easy as there are no time barriers restricting its spawns. However, Lost Tower is unlocked late-game unlike Eterna City, so might have to wait a little bit before getting a Misdreavus in the game.
