Togepi is one of the most adorable pokemon in this new remake of the 2006 classic title, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. It is a Fairy-type baby pokemon introduced in Gen II. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl: How to get/catch Togepi & what it’s location
Well, to catch Togepi in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, first, you will need to have at least a single gym badge, an explorer kit, and a secret base in the Grand Underground. If you don’t have an explorer kit and a secret base in the Grand Underground, visit our article here to know how to get one.
After you have all the required items, head over to the Grand Underground and visit the Wetland area towards the bottom of the Grand Underground map, named FountainSpring Cave. Well, there will be many water-type pokemon in this area including Gastrodon and Bidoof but the probability of finding a Togepi in this area is still quite low. So, to increase it, you will have to head over to your secret base in Grand Underground and place a fairy box statue in your secret base to activate the increased spawn rate for fairy type pokemon.
If you are lucky, you can find Fairy boxes by digging into the walls of the Grand Underground. So, once you have the fairy box statue, simply head over to your secret base and place it there. This will slightly increase the spawn rate of Fairy-type pokemon in the game and the chances of getting a Togepi will be increased.
