Pokemon Go is a very popular mobile game that was released in 2016 by Niantic. In Pokemon Go, players use their mobile devices to capture, battle, and train virtual creatures called Pokemon, which appear on the screen as if they were in the real world. However, lately, many users are facing a white Screen & gray Screen while playing leagues or catching Pokemon in Pokemon Go. This is a really frustrating problem for the players as due to it, they are not able to see anything on the screen. Moreover, some players who are sensitive to flashes can also get stressed out when the white screen suddenly pops out. Well, Niantic is aware of the issue, and they have even suggested a workaround for it. This guide features all the details on the same.

2) Tap on the screen
You can also try tapping on the screen repeatedly to fix this issue. For example, if there is a white screen popping out, tap the screen again and again. This might fix the white screen itself.
3) Press the back button
You can also press the back button on your device. If pressing it the first time does not work, you can continue pressing it to get over the white or gray screen that you are facing in the game.
4) Tap on “Encounter reward”
You can also tap on the “Encounter reward” option to get over this issue if merely pressing the back button does not work. This is a workaround suggested by players, so it’s worth a try.
5) Load every Pokemon in your storage and Pokedex again
To solve this problem, you need to re-download all data. You will have to try loading every Pokemon in your storage and Pokedex. This should also fix the issue of not being able to battle gyms due to Pokemon not loading. However, please note that this process may use a significant amount of data.
6) Update the game
You can also try updating the game to its latest version to avoid encountering this issue. For this, you will have to follow these steps:
On iOS:
- Firstly, you will have to open the App Store.
- Now, you will have to tap on your profile icon in the upper right corner.
- From here, you can scroll down to the “Available Updates” section.
- Lastly, you will have to look for Pokemon Go and tap the “Update” button next to it.
On Android:
- The first thing that you will have to do is open the Google Play Store.
- Now, you will have to tap the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner.
- Here, you will have to select “My apps & games.”
- Finally, you will have to find Pokemon Go in the list of apps and tap the “Update” button next to it.
By following these steps, you should be able to get over the White Screen & Gray Screen issue while playing leagues or catching Pokemon in Pokemon Go. On this note, do not forget to visit Androidgram for the latest updates in the world of tech and gaming.
