Pokemon Unite Gameplay
Pokemon games were solo all this while. Unite comes with a team concept that is new to the Pokemon games franchise. There’s a mode called Random Match. This mode will allow you to team up with random players through online matchmaking and battle it out with an opponent team. Each team will have 5 players. A game will consist of players of the same team catching wild pokemon, training them, and getting them fight-ready.
Then, a team will have to defeat their opponent team by battling with the opponent’s pokemon. Players will be rewarded with different amounts of Pokeballs depending on the Pokemon defeated. Those Pokeballs need to be brought to the opposing team’s goals to score points. The team with a higher score at the end of the timer wins.
If you do not want to play Random Match, you may also join a friend’s lobby using a lobby ID.
The introduction of a 5 v 5 battle in a Pokemon game has changed our perspective of how a usual Pokemon game is like. We are sure Pokemon Unite will be a huge success among fans and especially, friends who have grown watching Pokemon together.
How many friends can you add to your list?
Pokemon Unite will also allow you to enter a Random Match mode solo, but you will be teamed with four other players through an online matchmaking system. Get ready to make some awesome new friends in this process! You will be able to send a friend request to your teammates using their trainer ID. If they accept, they will be added to your game friend list. Now, they can also send you a request. It will be up to you whether you want to accept it or not.
To add friends, you will need to have a Player ID or Trainer ID of that particular player. You will be able to add a friend using the in-game player search tool. Enter the ID in the search box, and you will find the player you want to add as a friend. Send a request!
Thus, we can say that Pokemon Unite is a very social game. It will require you to cooperate with your teammates and play the game. You must be wondering how many friends you will be able to add to your game friend list. Well, the limit is huge. You will be able to add up to 500 friends/trainer IDs to your in-game list. We think it is more than enough for a single player.
