If the Sirius XM app on your Roku is not working, don’t worry! Because we have a list of solutions for this problem that can save you a lot of time.
Sirius XM provides satellite and online radio services to its users. With apps for various devices, Sirius XM makes it easy for its users to access its content. However, Roku users have been reporting the errors they had to face while using the app on their devices. While the issues are exclusive to just Roku users, it is difficult to say which of the two is the culprit for these errors. The developers at Sirius XM have addressed some problems and also claimed to fix a few. So, we recommend that before trying the troubleshooting steps listed in this article, update the application to see if the issues are solved. If an update does not fix your problems, move forward with the solutions in the next section.

Fixes for Sirius XM Roku app not working:
1) Remove and re-add the channel/app:
Remove the Sirius XM app from your Roku device by navigating to the icon and pressing * on your remote; choose the Remove channel option. Restart your Roku and re-add the application. Sign in with your credentials and check if the issue still persists.
2) Check your internet connection:
Check for the performance of other devices that are connected to the same network as the Roku. If you find signs that the internet might be slow or the connection is weak, that’s your answer. The Sirius XM app can stop working if the network connectivity is poor. The first thing you can try to tackle this is power cycling your router. Switch off your router (and modem), unplug all cables from the power source, and wait for five minutes before turning it on. When you turn it on, wait for another two minutes for the wireless connection to stabilize. Connect your Roku back to the internet and try to access the Sirius XM app.
If you think the internet speed is still not up to the mark, you will have to contact your ISP about the situation. Coordinate with them to solve your connectivity issues and hopefully fix the Sirius XM app not working issue.
3) Update Roku:
Check that your Roku is running on the latest build available. Not installing a system/firmware update on your Roku device for a while can cause errors with certain apps. To avoid compatibility issues, we recommend that you update your Roku device and check if you still can’t use the Sirius XM app.
4) Change username and password:
Reset the username and password for the Sirius XM app. Make sure that you can sign in to your account with the new credentials, using a different device. If you can successfully use the app with the new credentials on a different device, sign in to the Sirius XM app with the same credentials on your Roku device. If this did not work, try the next method.
5) Reboot Device:
To reboot your Roku, go to Settings from the main screen. Use the navigation buttons and go to System > Power > System Restart > Restart. Hopefully, the issue will not persist once your Roku reboots.
