The Warden is the most awaited mob in Minecraft ever since its announcement. It was expected to be added in the 1.18 Minecraft update. This is when the caves and cliffs update was not split into two separate updates. When the caves and cliffs update was announced, along with the new world generation and blocks, a new and dangerous mob ‘the Warden’ was showcased. The Warden in Minecraft exhibited various abilities and was sensitive to sound. Players were very excited for the ‘deep dark’ caves and the Warden. Some players had already started coming up with efficient ways to kill it. However, Mojang decided to split the update into two parts. The first updated added all the new blocks and are textures, while the second update changed the terrain and cave generation.
But, the Warden was not added in any of these Minecraft updates. The developers at Mojang have asked players to be patient. They are constantly working on making the mob the best version of itself. The new snapshots that were released recently show the deep dark city and quite a few new blocks. This ancient looking city is where the players will find the Warden.
When will the Warden be added to Minecraft?
The Warden will most likely be added in the next big update that will be released for Minecraft. The snapshots look very promising, delivering the quality that the players expected after the delay. Mojang hasn’t given an official release date yet. But most probably, the Warden will become a part of the game with Minecraft 1.19.
What to expect?
Mojang has certainly created the biggest and strongest hostile mob for the over world. But it definitely won’t be the center of attraction in the next update. There is a whole new biome, tree types and mobs that will make an entry in version 1.19. This update is announced as the wild update. Quite a fitting name if you ask me. The wild update is a whole roller coaster ride in itself. The Warden will just add to its glory.
The presence of the Warden in the deep dark biome will definitely affect the way players explore the underground caves. The Warden has around 250 health points and can two-shot a player in full netherite armor. Hence, killing it is not an option. Players have to try their best to avoid the Warden at all costs, to avoid being killed with all the loot that they manage to collect.
