Change the power outlet:

Change the power outlet to which you have connected your Xfinity flex device. This is the only issue on your side that can cause the device to restart again and again. Call an electrician to make sure that there is nothing wrong with the power supply to your house or the specific power outlet which was used to power your Xfinity flex device. If that fixes your issue, well and good. In case the problem is not solved yet, keep reading the article to know what else can be done.

Factory reset:

Upon posting about a similar issue on the Xfinity subreddit, a user was suggested to factory reset their device. Factory resetting the device can be done using the following steps. Press the power and menu buttons simultaneously on the Xfinity remote and let it go. Then press the up and down buttons simultaneously. This should trigger the device to start the factory reset. If you are able to get this done on the Xfinity flex device, it should stop restarting.

Get the device changed:

If the factory reset failed to solve the problem, here is a map that will help you locate the nearest Xfinity facility near you. Visit the store and ask them to replace the device for you.
