Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK): How to get & find Bokoblin Mask
How to find the Bokoblin Mask Location
Start from Central Hyrule and head towards Eldin Canyon, located in the northeastern region of the map. We highly suggest you unlock the Skyview Tower for this region because it eases traversal. As you head in the specified direction, keep your eyes peeled for the Woodland Stable, located between Thim’s Bridge and Helmhead Bridge, beside Pico Pond. Here are the coordinates to the Woodland Stable (1062, 1135, 0067). From the Woodland Stable, head northeast once again, until you come across the Woodland Stable Well (1093, 1154, 0009). The Pico Pond is to the right of this well.
If you face north from this place, you should see a distinguished, fancy, and colorful Air Balloon in the distance. Sprint towards the Air Balloon. The coordinates of the Air Balloon are (1213, 1212, 0020). If you’re running out of stamina often, visit this link to learn a trick to sprint long distances without depleting much stamina. Anyway, when you get there, you should come across a weird-looking NPC facing in the direction of the nearby cave. The NPC is called Kilton, a returning character from Breath of the Wild. Talk to him.
How to Get the Bokoblin Mask
After talking to Kilton, a series of events are going to happen. Without going into spoilers, Kilton’s brother, Koltin, will appear. Engage in their conversation to get a side quest called “The Hunt for Bubbul Gems”. Upon talking to Koltin, you learn that he is willing to trade a treasure for a Bubbul Gem. You can collect Bubbul Gems by weakening Bubbul Frogs, only found inside caves. If you already have at least one Bubbul Gem, give it to Koltin, and he will reward you will the treasure. However, if you don’t have Bubbul Gems, we got you.
After talking to Koltin, walk a few steps to the north to arrive at the Pico Pond Cave (1247, 1232, 0026). Enter the cave, and after walking a few steps, look towards the ceiling, and you should see a big grayish frog. That is the Bubbul Frog. Upon shooting it down using an arrow, the frog falls to the ground, and after a while, vanishes into thin air, leaving behind a Bubbul Gem. Collect the Bubbul Gem, along with other pieces of loot in the cave, and head back to the beach. Talk to Koltin, and he should give you the Bokoblin Mask.
Bokoblin Mask Attributes
According to the item description, the “cute, monstrous” Bokoblin Mask is hand-made by Kilton. You can now equip it to blend in with the Bokoblin race, besides receiving a base damage negation of 3. As said previously, the Bokoblins will not attack you unless you attack them. You no longer have to waste time on pointless battles.
