In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, there are a wide variety of mounts available according to the player’s preference. Finding a superior-quality horse, taming it, and registering it at the stable is one of the most enticing feelings for a Zelda fan. As with Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK) also has a Giant Horse that you can tame and add to your horse collection.
This time, the Giant Horse has undergone some aesthetic changes, making it look more majestic than ever. This comprehensive guide shows you where to find this enormous horse, how to tame it efficiently, and how to board it in the stable.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK): How to get and find the Giant Horse
Prerequisites
Having a big pool of stamina is highly recommended. If you don’t, no worries. Make sure to carry meals/consumables that can restore Link’s stamina quickly.
How to Find the Giant Horse
Head to the Horse God Bridge located in Farron, south of Central Hyrule. The coordinates to the Horse God Bridge are (0524, -3710, 0060). Cross the Horse God Bridge and head directly east. Eventually, you should come across a waterfall. Look around in the vicinity of the waterfall and you should spot the Giant Horse. The exact coordinates to the waterfalls are (0808, -3710, 0084).
How to Get and Tame the Giant Horse
Proceed silently towards the Giant Horse, and make sure you are unnoticed. You can also use Stealth armor for a better approach. When you are near enough, you should get a prompt to mount the horse. Needless to say, mount the horse. As soon as you are mounted, open your inventory and eat any consumable that raises your maximum Stamina (Eg. Endura Carrot meals).
Now the real struggle begins. Rapidly tap “L” on the controller to soothe the beast. You will notice that every time you soothe the Horse, it drains a portion of Link’s Stamina. If you run out of Stamina, the horse will kick you out of its back and you have to perform this process all over again. To avoid the horse kicking you out, open your inventory just before your Stamina is about to run out and consume a Stamina restoring potion/meal (Eg. Energizing Steamed Fish, Energizing Elixir). Exit the inventory and keep soothing the Giant Horse. The horse should be tamed in no time.
Registering the Horse
Here is everyone’s favorite part! Take the horse to the nearest stable. We recommend heading to the Highland Stable located a few paces to the north of the Horse God Bridge. The coordinates to the Highland Stable are (0530, -3451, 0096). Talk to the Padok, the owner of the Highland Stable to name your horse. The Giant Horse is now added to your collection, and you can ride it any time. Just make sure to head over to any stable near you to ride it.
Great! You now possess the Giant Horse. For more Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom content in the future, make sure to follow Android Gram.
