If you are a fan of real-time strategy video games, you must have played Age of Darkness: Final Stand by now. No? Well, the video game was released just a week back, and there’s plenty of time for you to get it. Let us tell you that the developers released the game in early access. They plan to keep it in early access for at least one year to incorporate as much player feedback as possible. Well, we can expect a lot of new and surprising additions to Age of Darkness throughout the early access phase. The early access doesn’t include the entire plan for Age of Darkness: Final Stand till now. You will only experience the Survival Mode, where you will be protecting your realm from an army of monsters while saving yourself from a deadly fog. According to the developers, the final launch version will have a full campaign mode with an interactive story and challenging gameplay.
Is mod support available in Age of Darkness: Final Stand?
Players love free mod support in games like Age of Darkness. The main reason is real-time strategy (RTS) video games usually have a lot of room to expand. With Age of Darkness: Final Stand being in early access, many want to know whether the developers will support such creativity in the future.
I don’t know if its part of the plan but this game should have a workshop where players can design their own maps and stuff. But not only do that, but take it further and make overhaul mods to enhance the game even further :O I can imagine a Lord of The Rings Overhaul.
Looks like players have already started imagining good stuff! But, the video game is still pretty new on the radar. So, Steam workshop (including modding) for Age of Darkness: Final Stand is now confirmed. But, the moderator hasn’t mentioned any release date as of now. However, we can expect it anytime after the developers deal with the ongoing issues completely.
