Seeing a Microsoft.LanguageExperiencePack error message while trying to download an extra language pack for Age of Empires 4? If you are on Windows 10 OS, there’s a way to solve this error. Players look for language support in video games to enhance their experience. Age of Empires is a very long-running franchise, and the developers wouldn’t ignore such a thing. Hence, Age of Empires 4 comes with multiple language support, including Hindi and Malay. However, some peeps have complained of errors while launching Age of Empires via Microsoft Store after adding a language. This can happen due to a Microsoft Store glitch. Getting rid of the error is easy, so let’s get started with the troubleshooting!

As mentioned before, Age of Empires 4 supports a host of languages for fans to enjoy the game. If you play the game via Steam, you will be able to access 14 interface languages and 9 audio languages. However, that’s not it. The developers have included additional languages too. However, these cannot be accessed via Steam. If you play Age of Empires 4 via Microsoft Store, you may see a Microsoft.LanguageExperiencePack error message after adding a language. However, it is possible to get rid of it easily. We will have to use the command wsreset to reset the Microsoft Store – delete the app’s cache. wsreset will not delete your installed apps or account settings. Follow the steps below to resolve the error message. Make sure you close the store before you try the following.

1) First, open the Command Prompt window (search for cmd in the Start menu).
2) In the Command Prompt, type wsreset and then restart your machine.
3) Once you relaunch the game after restarting, you may get a pop-up. Click the Yes option.
4) The game will close automatically. If not, manually close it.
5) Now, launch the game again, and this time, you should be able to play Age of Empires 4 in the desired language.
