Back 4 Blood: How to enable/disable Cross-play?
Enabling and disabling cross-play in Back 4 Blood is fairly simple. During the first campaign, the game provides an option to the players to enable/disable cross-play while talking to the people to access the menus at the very start. But, once you select your option, the cross-play setting is nowhere to be seen. So, if you want to change your cross-play setting in-game, follow the given steps-
1) First, go near any of the three characters in the main area. Press E and access the menu.
2) Then, all you need to do is head down below and click on the option that says Preferences.
3) After that, you will be taken to the Matchmaking Preferences menu where there will be the Cross-play option. Set it to ON/ OFF according to your choice. And that’s it.
Note: To be able to play online matches with your friends in your party, everyone needs to have the same Cross-play option as you. If you have set it to ON and some of your party members have set it to OFF, they will be joining in and out of the party and won’t be able to join online matches grouped together. So, to avoid this unfortunate situation, make sure to have the same cross-play settings.
