Steps to fix Bluestacks PS app voice chat not working:
1) Unmute on Bluestacks:
It is easy to miss out on smaller details when everything is so easy. This also goes for the sound settings on BlueStacks. The option to mute or unmute sounds on BlueStacks is present right on the home screen. Accidentally muting the sounds using that option can make you believe that the voice chat feature on the PS app is not working for you. All you have to do is click on the sound icon on the toolbar that is located at the right side of the BlueStacks window. If you somehow missed that before, now you know it’s always there for you to mute or unmute the sounds in BlueStacks on command.
2) Check the device sound settings:
Similar to the step given above, it is just too obvious to be noticed. But slight changes in the sound settings can lead to problems like yours. Right-click on the sound icon on the taskbar and open the sound settings. Turn up the volume for everything. It would be even better if you can turn up the volume for BlueStacks individually. You can do that by right-clicking the sound icon and selecting Open Volume Mixer. Turn the volume for BlueStacks all the way up. This should solve the Voice chat problems you are facing on the PS app in BlueStacks.
3) Check the Microphone settings:
Right-click the sound icon on the taskbar and open the Sound settings. Scroll down a bit to find the Sound control panel option. Go to the Recording tab and select your microphone and click on Properties. Now select Levels and turn up both the options that are in front of you. This should be more than enough to fix the Voice chat issue on the PS app that you are using through BlueStacks.
