Why hasn’t Credit Karma updated your report?
Credit Karma provides a credit score after analyzing the reports from TransUnion and Equifax. Apparently, TransUnion reports are monitored daily while reports from Equifax may take up to 7 days. Also, it is possible that your credit lenders have not reported the changes. Lenders can take up to 30-45 days to submit a report to the bureaus.
Such events may delay the credit score updation on Credit Karma. You can’t really expect a regular update with so many factors controlling the situation. Wait for some time before acting upon the matter. Meanwhile, check the most recent update that was provided by the bureaus. On the website, go to Accounts and click on the bureau you want to review. Click on the account and the most recent update will be mentioned with a date.
How to fix it:
1) Turn off VPN:
If you are using the website with your VPN turned on, turn it off. Don’t worry as this is just a temporary measure. Turn off your VPN and check if Credit Karma works properly!
2) Unrecognized device:
Credit Karma may not work properly or throw unknown errors if you are trying to access your account from a new device. Complete the verification procedure for that device using your registered phone number. Once the device is authorized, try to access your account. You won’t face any problems anymore.
3) Unsafe internet connection:
Like the device, if you are using public internet service or an internet connection that you haven’t used before, you could face an issue on Credit Karma. If possible, connect a familiar network and try using Credit Karma again. This should solve any problem that you are facing on the platform!
