Fans are waiting for an update on the above question. However, a subreddit user has updated some information. Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance might have plans to incorporate a cross-generation platform with future updates. According to the same user, the official discord page of the video game confirmed this.
Although the feature is missing in the game right now, players can still play with their friends in a way. PlayStation 5 users can download a downgraded Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance for PlayStation 4. So, they can then play with their friends who owns PS4.
