Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is a near-perfect racing video game – the developers did a great job with the overall game design. However, FH 5’s audio design stood out which even got them a Game Award! Does that include radio music? Well, no. The audio design is only for the car audio, and other audio related to the game’s mechanics. Radio music doesn’t come under audio design. Not everyone liked the tracks chosen for the game’s radio. Diving deep into the situation will only uncover more dissatisfaction, but it’s time someone addresses it.

Not only that, but we will also tell you how to turn off the music in Forza Horizon 5. You can then easily play your favorite Spotify or Apple Music playlist in the background while you zoom across the beautiful map. Most racing game fans may not notice the radio music in FH 5, but any music enthusiast will. As a result, many have expressed dissatisfaction with the developers choosing mediocre music for a fantastic game otherwise. According to fans, Forza Horizon 4 had a good selection of tracks compared to the latest. But, the more massively reported problem was the censoring.

How to turn off radio music in Forza Horizon 5?

There are some awful songs but I think the bigger problem is the small amount of music and the censoring of words that aren’t even profane. – SphericalLemur78

Censoring is common on entertainment platforms to protect adolescents from slang or “bad words”. However, does it really help? With a vast database of song lyrics available on the internet, it isn’t very difficult to find the actual lyrics. However, this isn’t the reason why fans are unhappy. The system has censored words that are not even slang. For example, Uranus was censored in the Intergalactic track of Forza Horizon 5’s radio. There are several “normal words” which were censored leading to (mature) players turning off in-game radio music and switching to a curated playlist. Spotify is a go-to for most of us when it comes to third-party music apps. But, if you have a PS5, you can now access your favorite playlists on Apple Music. Keep reading to know how to turn off music in the game.

Turning off radio music in Forza Horizon 5 is as easy as a slide! Follow the steps below-
1) Firstly, head over to the in-game settings.
2) Next, navigate to the Audio tab.
3) Now, look for the Radio Volume slider. Slide it to the lowest point or 0.
4) Save changes.

That’s it. You can now play Forza Horizon 5 with no music or you can play other playlists of your choice. For more articles on Forza Horizon 5, stay tuned to Androidgram!

I love to play video games and write about them. Food helps with my patience. I am a fan of comedy, and I am funny too (sometimes just angry).
