Wondering how to change God of War PC’s display resolution for your system? Reports suggest that the game has been facing some performance issues (annoying FPS drops) at 1920 x 1080 resolution. However, when you hop into the in-game settings, you will notice that it doesn’t allow you to change the display resolution? Strange, huh? GOW PC was a much-awaited title since Sony announced its development. Well, it is what happens when you make a good game and decide to restrict its release to a single platform for years. All’s well that ends well?
Another issue reported by players is that of ultrawide support. Sony released a separate trailer to promote the developer’s work on God of War PC’s ultrawide support. And, when the game released, players hurried into buying it only to realize that its official ultrawide support is restricted to the 21:9 ratio. In addition to this mess, there’s no exclusive full-screen mode. However, players can use the borderless mode which seems to replace full-screen mode with additional performance pros. If you own a 32:9 monitor wondering what to do now, try using the third-party application called Flawless Widescreen. Running this in the background will let you play God of War PC on your 32:9 monitor without any annoying borders. You are welcome!

This is the only way you can change the resolution in God of War PC as of now. Many players have expressed annoyance and dissatisfaction at not being able to change resolution directly. We also cannot change Output Resolution when on Borderless mode. To be able to change that, players will have to switch to Windowed mode.
