HMS Core New update is rolling out v5.0.1.313 | Adds Wireless Service Capability

Huawei Mobile Services or HMS is a mobile application system built on Huawei devices and the Android platform that opens up a range of service capabilities for App developers. HMS is Huawei’s alternative to GMS, and it similarly consists of user-facing applications as well as core background services. If you’re a developer, HMS helps you to enhance your application’s user experience by providing additional features like push notifications, machine learning, etc.

Recently, Huawei has been keen on improving the HMS core and its allied services, which seems fair as these services have been the primary structure of Huawei and honor’s current user experience.

Walking on the same track, Huawei has just announced that v5.0.1.313 of HMS Core, a new update, has started rolling out for the users.

What’s new?

Huawei has also shared the changelog with the announcement of the new update.

Changelog;

  • Adds the Wireless service capability for smoother performance when watching videos and playing games as well as faster uploads and downloads.
  • Improves certain services

How To Download The Update?

Users can download the latest update through AppGallery on their devices or by just simply clicking on the link below:

HMS presents itself as a window of opportunity for reducing your app’s reliance on Google services as well as an opening into Huawei and Honor’s device ecosystem, which still forms a substantial and unignorable part of the market.
