Optimization?
As you can already imagine, Fortnite has been receiving content updates every season since its launch. Most battle royale video games sport a battle pass content system, providing players with new weapon skins, outfits, bundles, rewards, and much more. Fortnite is no different! However, as players update the game, the game’s file size may grow accordingly. It depends on the type of update – sometimes, updates focus on space optimization which may cause the storage requirements to grow smaller. Plus, the game has undergone massive cuts in space requirements. An update was released in October 2021 to include massive space optimization in the game. As of 2022, Fortnite displays good space optimization but requires decent hardware for optimal performance.
