Dark Souls has always been the role model for the souls-like genre. But what is souls-like? If a game follows the same no-nonsense fundamentals and intricate environment features as the Dark Souls games, then it’s a souls-like game or falls under the same genre. In such games, the difficulty is quite high; bosses drop legendary items, while there are hidden weapons and armor that you can find too. Lords of the Fallen is also a souls-like game that features all this without holding back. Enemies will deal insane damage right from the start, and you must find suitable weapons to survive. “Bloody Glory”, for example, is an excellent weapon for starters. It can deal both holy and physical damage. But finding it, on the other hand, is a bit of a stretch. There are traps and unknown locations, but this guide will help you tackle all that in only one run. So, continue reading if you want to find this weapon in the game.
The Bloody Glory is a grand sword, crafted skillfully by the Hallowed Sentinals. That explains why it deals holy damage. That’s not all; due to its hybrid properties, it can also cause enemies to suffer a bleed effect and lose health over time. It’s not the best damage-dealing sword by any means, but it is still one of the best weapons in-game. So, let’s see where this sword can be found.
Lords of the Fallen (2023): How to get the Bloody Glory Grand Sword
Tips and prerequisites
While on your way to find this sword, cut corners during the entire process instead of killing every single enemy along the way. And make sure to look out for traps, since the entire path will be filled with them. The last and probably most important one is to obtain the Pilgrim’s Perch Key. You can buy it from Stomound, Captain of Fidelis for 9500 vigor. This NPC can be found in Skyrest.
How do you find the bloody glory in Lords of the Fallen?
Now that you have the key, just head over to Pilgrim’s Perch Bellroom Vestige. Then follow these steps carefully:
- Once you reach the Vestige, use the Pilgrim’s Perch Key to unlock the door with a bell hanging from it.
- Enter the first cave system of this run.
- Stick to the right side.
- When you reach the wooden platform area, again stick to the right and jump to the next wooden platform, even if it looks fine for walking. It’ll break if you aren’t careful.
- When you see a crossbowman, switch to Umbral.
- Walk over to the other side and keep going forward.
- Upon exiting the first cave system, turn left.
- Walk over the spine bridge.
- Turn left after crossing the bridge and enter the second cave system.
- Save your progress by interacting with the Umbral flowerbed found in this area.
- Once done, continue forward, climb the ladder, and head deeper into the cave.
- Turn right from the stone statue.
- Now the trap area will begin, and enemies will throw barrels, so look out for that.
- Climb the stairs and continue moving forward.
- At the end of the corridor, you will see a bloody soldier on top of a tombstone.
- Simply go near the corpse, and you will get the prompt to pick up the Bloody Sword.
