Minecraft 1.18 update external storage error: How to fix it?

Well, this isn’t an error. It is due to an update that has shifted the game’s save directory to another. So, if you want your worlds back in the game, all you need to do is copy-paste your Minecraft worlds from the old directory to the new one. Here’s how you can do it.

1) First of all, launch Minecraft and create a New World. After creating, play for about a minute and then click on Save and Quit.
2) Now, exit the game and launch the File Explorer on your Android device. Follow the given path – /storage/emulated/0/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds. This is the location where all your created worlds are saved currently. So, if you want them to be detected by the game, you will have to copy them and paste them into the new directory.
3) After copying the desired worlds, head to the given path- /storage/emulated/0/Android/Data/com.mojang.minecraftpe/files/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds and paste worlds here.
4) After doing this, simply launch Minecraft and click on Play. You will be able to see your desired world displayed in the game.
