It is normal for the video on Nest Aware to not play in certain situations. The wireless cameras which directly connect themselves to the local network can switch from the cloud to the local network from time to time. The transition from the cloud network to the local network is pretty seamless for the most part. But sometimes the video can pause for a few seconds. Also, jittering and timely pauses are expected when your internet connection is fluctuating slightly. So just be patient and wait for things to go back to normal.
Check your internet connection:
The next most probable reason for Nest Aware not being able to play your requested video is a non-functional internet connection. Try opening other apps on your device. Check if the apps that do not have issues normally are working fine. If the majority of the app’s are taking a lot of time to load on your device, it is definitely due to your internet connection. Contact your ISP and ask for assistance in fixing the connection. Once the internet connection is fixed for sure, Nest Aware will not have any issues in playing videos.
Update the app:
