Fixes for Samsung notifications not showing on lock screen:
Check notification settings:
If you had recently made any changes to the privacy settings on your phone, the notifications will be affected. Go to Settings on your device and then search for “Privacy settings”. Under privacy settings look for Notifications. You should be able to change all the notification settings from here. Allow notifications from all apps to pop up on your lock screen. This should fix the problem in any circumstance.
If the notifications on your lock screen were already allowed, toggle the button in front of it OFF and the ON again. Go to Settings > Lockscreen > Notifications. This will potentially refresh your choice and fix the issue.
Check sound settings:
Sound settings like “Silent Mode” and “DND” can stop notifications completely. If your Samsung phone is on any one of these sound modes, change it to normal. Changing the sound settings to normal will fix the problem and the notifications will start showing up on your Samsung device lock screen.
Turn on notifications for an app:
If you failed to give certain permissions to an app during its setup, you may not get the notifications for that specific app on your Samsung device lock screen. Open the app and go to its menu. Now go to settings and locate the Notifications. Enable notifications for that app. A small pop up will appear asking if you want to allow the app to access the notifications feature on your device. Select “Allow” and the lock screen notifications on your device will be fixed.
Restart device:
Performing a quick restart often helps in fixing minor system errors that might have been the reason for this problem. Restart your Samsung phone and then observe it for some time. The notifications for the apps you expect should start showing up on the lock screen.
