Spotify is known for its spot-on recommendations for music. Almost all the time, you will end up liking the music the app suggests. You may end up discovering new music or running into old favorites. Either way, it’s a fabulous thing to experience. Spotify auto-plays new music after your playlists or single tracks end. It guesses what you may like based on what you listen to usually. However, a recent issue has bugged the autoplay feature of Spotify. Read this article to know possible ways to fix the issue.

Spotify Autoplay not working: How to fix?

Spotify’s Autoplay feature is one of the most highlighted features of the online audio streaming service. Spotify uses rigorous algorithms to curate recommendations for its users. Imagine the most exciting feature of a service not working. Users facing the issue are very disappointed as expected. The issue is not restricted to any particular device.

Spotify has acknowledged the issue and is currently investigating the issue. So, they are going to come up with a patch to solve the issue as soon as possible. Spotify has also mentioned a few troubleshooting tips to help users try and fix the issue themselves. We have listed the fixes for you!

  1. Make sure Autoplay is enabled in your Spotify App settings. To do so, tap on Home > Settings. Look under Playback, find the Autoplay toggle option, and switch it on (if switched off).
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Spotify app and see whether the Autoplay works or not.
  3. Check your network. Try using a different network and check Autoplay.
