1) Check whether Secure Boot is On/Off –
Check the status of the Secure Boot feature on your device, by typing ‘System Information’ in the search box. Click on System information and look for ‘Secure Boot state’. Check if it’s on or off. If it’s off, here is how you turn it on.
Go to Settings > Recovery > Advanced start up > Click on ‘Restart now’.
After a few seconds, you should see a ‘Troubleshooting’ option on your screen. Click on it and follow these directions – Advanced options > UEFI Firmware setting > Advanced model F7 (near the lower right corner of the screen) > Advanced > PCH-FW configuration.
Under ‘TPM Device Selection’, select ‘Enable Firmware TPM’. Now, go to ‘Boot’ > Secure Boot > Change the OS type from ‘Other OS’ to ‘Windows UEFI mode’.
