MLG in Minecraft:
There are various types of MLGs in Minecraft. Most of these MLGs are based around negating your fall damage in the game. There are MLGs in Minecraft that can save you from a hundred block fall without a single heart of damage. And there are some MLGs that can help you reduce the fall damage you take significantly. The most famous and repeatedly used MLG is with the water bucket. If you enjoy watching Minecraft content, ‘MLG Water’ will ring a lot of bells.
MLG water bucket is done by placing water below your character right before you hit the ground to break the fall. In Minecraft, players do not take damage when landing in water. The depth of the water and the height from which you fall does not matter. You can fall from a height of 319 blocks into a single source block of water without a scratch. But the tricky part is not having water already placed below you. When tower up hundreds of blocks, the quickest way down is jumping off.
Hence, to break your fall, move your slot selector to the water bucket in your hot-bar and jump off. When you are about to approach the ground be ready. Identify the block that is going to be below you by looking straight down. Once the block is within your reach, place the water to land in it. You will only get a few milliseconds to do so. Make sure to be quick!
Types of MLGs:

Players can use a bucket of powdered snow to break their fall even in the nether! Water cannot be placed in the nether, hence a better MLG tactic is needed.
