Turning off voice chat in Battlefield 2042 will mean you will be using the text to communicate most of the time if needed. Profanity filter will scan “toxic” words from your chat. Keeping aside the stupidity of adding an always-on profanity chat filter in an M-rated video game, let’s discuss how to disable voice chat. Disabling voice chat in Battlefield 2042 is quite simple. First, you will have to open the Options menu in-game. Next, select the General tab and then the Communications tab to reveal a list of options for voice chat. Find the toggle option for Enable Voice Chat. Toggle to disable voice chat, if enabled. If you are overwhelmed with using the chat and want to let your teammates know important calls via voice chat, you can enable the push-to-talk feature.
