Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange platform, the largest in the world in terms of daily cryptocurrency trading volume. Not receiving verification emails from Binance? That’s a bummer! Keep reading this article to know what could possibly be the reason behind such an issue. We have also compiled the possible solutions to this problem.
How to Fix The Issue
When a new user registers on Binance’s server, the website or the app requests a few documents for the KYC process and a valid email address for verification. A code is then sent to the provided email address as the final step in the process. However, users may not get their emails for a variety of reasons, ranging from server errors to incorrect email ID. In this section of the article, we have compiled the steps you can take to fix this issue
1) Check Internet Connectivity:
This is important as all the online tasks require strong and stable connectivity. Check whether you are in close proximity to your WiFi router. If you sense an unstable network connection, try power cycling your router to fix it. In case you are unable to troubleshoot the problem with your connection, contact your ISP for further help. Until then, you can try using a different network connection or mobile data. If you internet connection is fine and you are still not receiving the verification mail, it’s time to hop to the next step.
2) Type in the correct Email Address:
Check whether you are typing the correct Email ID. Also, check whether you are logged in to the same mail account of whose ID you submitted.
3) Binance’s or your email domain’s servers may be down:
If you aren’t receiving the verification email, despite being logged in, check the official Twitter page or news for your mail domain or Binance’s status. There might be a chance that the sites are down for maintenance.
4) Check Spam:
Have you gone through your email’s spam folder? Sometimes Gmail pushes important emails like the verification code or the email concerning the codes for registration to the spam folder. Go to the spam folder and check the emails to see if you have the verification email.
5) Inbox Out of Space:
It’s a rare event to occur but take a look at whether your Inbox has reached its limit. If your Inbox is out of space. empty it and refresh. You can also resend a request for another verification code and check again.
6) Try Again Later
Have you tried several times? Give it some rest and try the process again later. In places like Binance where security is a priority, there are limits on the number of attempts. So keep your patience and try later that day or the next day.
If you are still not receiving the verification mail after several attempts and nothing seems to be wrong on your part, contact Binance Support. You can contact them through live chat or Twitter. Log in to your Binance account on a browser and look for Support on the bottom-right – click on it to start a Live Chat. On the Binance app, you can head over to Profile > Chat to start a Live Chat.
