Unable to play Clash Mini on your phone? You may have run into a launch issue or random crash/freeze issue. Fortunately, it is not difficult to troubleshoot such issues. Clash Mini is a board game set in the popular Clash Universe. You can collect Minis and Heroes to summon during battles set on beautiful, interesting boards. Well, you can learn more about the available characters and their abilities to make your game stronger. However, your favorite Clash series is no more restricted to Villages. Currently, Clash Mini is soft-launched (beta) in seven countries – Canada, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Singapore, and Chile. However, you can use a VPN or create a new Apple ID to download the game from any location.
Already tried the game? We are sure it is your new favorite. But, if Clash Mini is not working, not launching, loading, freezing, or crashing on your device, it can obviously hamper your in-game experience. However, there’s nothing to worry about – you can try the following fixes and workarounds for all the issues you are facing in the game.
Clash Mini not working, launching, loading, freezing & crashing (Android & iOS): Fixes & Workarounds
Try these fixes and workarounds to solve issues with Clash Mini:
1) Restart the game
Freezes can occur while you are playing a match and a background app interrupts Clash Mini’s internal processes. Try restarting the game to fix the freeze issue.
2) Check for pending updates
You may face issues with Clash Mini if you haven’t updated the game to the latest version available. If Clash Mini refuses to launch, runs into a problem, or crashes/freezes, head over to Google PlayStore (Android) or AppStore (iOS), and check for any pending updates. Install any new update you see and restart the game.
3) Clear app cache
Sometimes, app caches become a source of launch and freeze issues. So, if you are unable to launch or load the game, try clearing out the app cache. Keep in mind that clearing app cache is only possible on Android Phones. Long press the game app and tap on the i button. Look for an option called Clear Data, tap on it, and then select Clear Cache. Make sure you don’t delete the entire set of app data as that will likely reset your Clash Mini account. Once the app cache is cleared, launch the game and check whether the issues persist. To clear Clash Mini cache on iOS, reinstall the app from AppStore.
4) Check for network issues
Unable to download in-game updates or content in the game? This is most likely a network issue. Try checking your network’s stability – connect to a different network or use mobile data to check whether the download is triggered. You can also try switching on Airplane Mode – switch it off after 10 seconds and try playing Clash Mini. If you use a wireless connection, restart/reboot your router. If you don’t see any network connectivity on your device after trying the above, try resetting your network settings. For Android devices, open the Settings app and search for a setting called Reset Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and Bluetooth. Tap on it to reset network settings. For iOS devices, head over to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
5) Reinstall Clash Mini app
If none of the above works, reinstall the game to get rid of any launch, freeze, or loading issues. Head over to the respective app stores, and uninstall the app. Then, tap on Install again.
6) Make sure that your phone is completely updated
Clash Mini will misbehave if your OS is not updated. Make sure that you are on the latest iOS or Android version. You can check for the same from Settings > About Phone in Android and Settings > General > Software Update in iOS.
7) Check for server issues
If none of the above works (unlikely!), check Clash Mini’s social pages on Twitter or Reddit. If there’s an ongoing server-wide issue, the developers would have updated their space. You will need to wait for the outage to be fixed before you can play Clash Mini.
