Recently, the crypto market has taken a significant turn, with an increase in the number of users and holders of the cryptocurrency, Crypto.com was one of the several crypto exchanges that sprung up in popularity. Founded 5 years ago by Bobby Bao, the app and its website have recently seen a lot of traffic, and with a lot of traffic comes a lot of problems.
What Happened Recently?
Crypto.com halted its users’ ability to withdraw cash for 12 hours and then required them to reset their two-factor authentication. However, Crypto.com officials didn’t share any updates regarding the same until early Monday morning.
Meanwhile, the officials advised customers to sign back into their accounts and reset their two-factor authentication codes. Users complained about a lot of transactions draining monies from their accounts in the responses to the exchange’s tweets; these transactions were frequently in the hundreds of dollars at a time.
In recent years, the exchange has spent a lot of money on sponsoring sports teams, the most high-profile example being when it bought the naming rights to the arena formerly known as Staples Center in Los Angeles and renamed it Crypto.com Arena.
What Else Can Be The Reasons of Error In 2FA?
Most of the time, 2FA also fails because the clock on each device is out of sync. The date and time on the device on which you are checking in to crypto.com must be precisely identical to the ones on the device on which you receive your 2FA code for 2FA to work properly. If the time and date are incorrect, a warning will appear.
