Logging out of Netflix on Roku:
There are a few different methods that can be used to log out of a Netflix account on Roku. These methods greatly depend on the type of Roku devices you use.
For older devices –
Unfortunately, there is no standard method of logging out of a Netflix account on an older Roku TV. Roku 1, and Roku LT, XS, and XD can be considered as old TV models and hence, the following method is applicable for those. To log out, you will have to completely remove the Netflix app on these devices. Go to Home and hover over the Netflix app. Press the * button and select Remove channel. This will delete the Netflix app and related info from the TV. The next time you download Netflix on that device, the signup procedure will be similar to a first-time app setup.
For modern devices –
For modern devices like Roku 3, Roku 4, and Roku streaming sticks, the following method is applicable. It is a bit confusing since the position of the log-out option doesn’t really make sense. Go to the Netflix Home page on your Roku device and press the left navigation button on your remote to see the list of options. Scroll down to the ‘Get help’ option. Funnily enough, the option to log out of the account will be under ‘Get help’. Select it and log out of the Netflix account for that Roku device.
