NHL 22 CHEL & Online matches syncing error troubling players
There’s is a very very bad synching problem within NHL 22 that causes the game to freeze up for sometimes up to 20 minutes with players on both teams waiting for resume of play, or in my instance last night my two teammates and I were in a game, prompted with the synching screen then when resume of play began we were all seeing and experiencing different things. I said I have the puck but both of my teammates also saw that their players had the puck. It was like we were all 3 in separate instances of the game – Synskll, EA Answers HQ user
Since the launch, the developers noted numerous other reports resembling the same as above. In short, players of the same lobby waited for up to 20 minutes for the game to resume while a syncing screen stared at them. And, when the game resumed, everyone was experiencing different scenes. So, the sync system in NHL 22 is completely non-functional and, in other words, broken. However, there is a workaround you can try.
How to fix the sync issues in NHL 2022?
Don’t skip the cut-scene from the play. According to many, skipping the cut-scene triggers the sync issues when a penalty is taken. But, this is just a workaround and hasn’t worked for everyone. EA has, however, acknowledged the problem pretty quickly and has announced that they will deploy a temporary fix for the annoying sync issue in NHL 22 by this week. According to the developers, the augmented reality face-off effects are causing the sync issues and hence, will be disabled as a temporary fix.
