Rainbow Six Siege (R6) error code 2-0x0000d00c How to fix it

Rainbow Six Siege (R6) players are encountering the error code 2-0x0000d00c lately. This error usually comes with a message that says “You are unable to join the match at this time because you abandoned a previous match. error code: [2-0x0000D00C]”. This error seems to inflict a temporary ban on the users for an uncertain amount of time. This can be very frustrating as the downside of this error is that it doesn’t allow the players to join the multiplayer games. The primary cause of this error seems to be a connection issue from the developer’s side. However, since the occurrence of this error is random, we shall carry out several fixes and workarounds to sort this error out in case there is a delay in the hotfix.

Fortunately, developers have acknowledged this error and a hotfix has already been released by the official Rainbow Six Siege (R6) team. But if you are one of those players who are still getting struck by the error code 2-0x0000d00c, we have some fixes that might solve this problem for you:

1) Restart the Game:

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best. Simply closing and restarting the game can resolve the error on your respective device.

2) Restart Your Router:

If restarting the game doesn’t help, try restarting your router. This can help resolve any connectivity issues that might be preventing R6 from connecting to the servers.

3) Check Your Firewall Settings:

If you’re using a firewall, make sure it’s not blocking the traffic needed for R6 to connect to the servers. You can do this by temporarily disabling the firewall and seeing if the error goes away. If it does, you’ll need to add R6 to the exception list.

4) Update your network drivers:

To update network drivers in Windows 11, go to Settings, click on Update & Security, then Windows Update. If there are no updates, go to Device Manager, find your network adapter, right-click, and select “Update Driver.” Windows 11 will search for the latest driver and install it automatically.

5) Update Rainbow Six Siege (R6):

You can try updating the game regardless of the platform you are playing it on. Updating your game to the latest version ensures that it is on the most recent patch.

By following these fixes, you might be able to get over this connection error. Also, do not forget to visit Androidgram for the latest updates in the world of tech and gaming.
