As a result, the release date has been delayed, and now the game is reported to be released sometime in August 2021.

Splitgate: Legacy Title
As mentioned earlier, Splitgate was in BETA for a really long time. But, the game was in Alpha as well. Players who have played the game in the early alpha which is before the BETA version, have received this title. All accounts got reset leaving them with this title as a memory/achievement and if players bought skins back then, it got refunded as well.
So, basically, if anyone has the Legacy title in Splitgate, this means that the player has played the game before the BETA release. This Legacy title is indeed a very rare title as the number of players who played the game during that time was quite low. Also, there isn’t any way for new players to get this title.
